Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Breaks: 2 x 15-minute paid breaks & 1 x 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Transport: Own transport required due to location

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to move, lift, and transport materials on construction sites or within warehouses. This role requires a keen understanding of machinery and safety protocols, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Operate the telehandler to lift, move, and place materials as required on-site.
- Perform daily inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries or storage areas.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during construction or warehouse activities.
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating a telehandler or similar machinery is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment.
- A valid commercial driving licence is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to dig and perform basic excavation tasks when required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
