As an Insurance Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the insurance function through efficient claims administration and clear communication with internal teams, insurers, and solicitors. You’ll be responsible for accurate record-keeping and processing insurance-related queries in a timely and professional manner.

This is a full-time role, but we’re open to considering job share arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing admin support for claims, recoveries, payments, and Bordereaux requests
  • Creating and maintaining claim files and internal claim systems
  • Managing email workflows and scanned post to ensure correct records
  • Liaising with sites, insurers, brokers, and finance teams
  • Supporting updates to internal insurance information systems
  • Handling documentation for liability, property, and motor claims
  • Ensuring accurate filing, reporting, and data entry for all claims
  • Assisting with ad hoc insurance administration tasks as required

What we’re looking for

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within insurance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, calm, and structured approach with excellent time management
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a busy environment
  • Confidence in negotiation and problem solving
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work independently
