Salary: £26,500 - £29,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Doncaster
As an Insurance Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the insurance function through efficient claims administration and clear communication with internal teams, insurers, and solicitors. You’ll be responsible for accurate record-keeping and processing insurance-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
This is a full-time role, but we’re open to considering job share arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

What you’ll be doing
- Providing admin support for claims, recoveries, payments, and Bordereaux requests
- Creating and maintaining claim files and internal claim systems
- Managing email workflows and scanned post to ensure correct records
- Liaising with sites, insurers, brokers, and finance teams
- Supporting updates to internal insurance information systems
- Handling documentation for liability, property, and motor claims
- Ensuring accurate filing, reporting, and data entry for all claims
- Assisting with ad hoc insurance administration tasks as required
What we’re looking for
- Previous administration experience, ideally within insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, calm, and structured approach with excellent time management
- Flexibility and adaptability in a busy environment
- Confidence in negotiation and problem solving
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential information and work independently
