Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

This isn’t a shiny factory full of beanbags and buzzwords. It’s a proper site, making real stuff, that needs engineers who know their way around a spanner and don’t need a flowchart to change a bearing.

You’ll be joining a small but solid team that keeps the wheels turning (literally), doing mechanical maintenance the way it should be done — by people who actually enjoy it.

Yes, the shift covers the weekend. No, we’re not pretending that’s a selling point. But if you’re the sort of person who prefers working with machines over dealing with Monday morning office politics, you might not mind it.

Location: Somewhere between Doncaster and a decent cuppa
Shift: Wed & Thurs (6am–6pm), Fri & Sat (6pm–6am)
Salary: £50k+ Overtime | Weekly Pay

• A mix of PPM and reactive jobs

• Hydraulics, pneumatics, chains, gears – all the usual suspects

• A fair bit of welding, fabrication, diagnostics – the proper stuff

• No corporate nonsense, just a job to do and a team that gets on with it

• Mechanical background in a factory or something similar

• Level 3 qualification in engineering (or enough experience to laugh at that sentence)

• A decent attitude, a sense of humour, and a pair of safety boots that’ve seen some things

• £50k a year (before you even touch the overtime)

• Proper training and the chance to get involved in some big, heavy kit

• A team that’s small enough to care but big enough to get the job done

If you’re after beanbags and job titles like “Engineering Ninja,” this probably isn’t for you.
