Day-to-day of the role:- Carry out repairs, maintenance, and installations in your specialist trade areas including plumbing, gas, electrical, and lifts.
- Utilise multi-trade skills to complete a wide range of tasks efficiently, often in a single visit.
- Respond to emergency repair needs, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
- Participate in new builds and refurbishment projects, applying your expertise to enhance community facilities.
- Manage job tasks and update records in real time using handheld devices.
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring tenant satisfaction with completed work.
- Mentor and support apprentices and trainees, fostering skill development within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest regulations and maintain relevant certifications.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Gas?
- Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial settings.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using technology (e.g., tablets) for work management.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to work occasional out-of-hours or provide emergency cover.
