Description
As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
- Perform regular equipment inspections and scheduled maintenance on Mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify equipment faults to minimise production downtime.
- Implement improvement initiatives to increase equipment efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance work.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the work environment.
- Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team on various projects.
- Provide technical advice and support to the production team.
- Participate in continuous learning and training programmes.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer should have:
- An academic background in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
- Willingness to work in twilight shifts.
