About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Service Operative to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of property maintenance and compliance services across multiple sites. You will handle a mix of administrative duties and hands-on tasks, ensuring properties are safe, well-maintained, and compliant.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage repairs using housing management systems.
  • Coordinate contractors and facilitate property access.
  • Process procurement tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor compliance, including certification tracking and safety actions.
  • Carry out low level repairs, decorating, landscaping, and basic maintenance.
  • Support maintenance staff and cleaners when required.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).
  • Strong IT and administration skills.
  • Experience in property maintenance coordination or housing services.
  • Ability to complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Understanding of compliance and health & safety requirements.

 

Working Environment

  • Office-based with regular travel to properties across operating areas.
  • Some work may involve unpleasant or unhygienic environments.
