We are currently seeking a reliable, confident, and proactive Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondary school in Doncaster on a long-term, full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and well-structured school environment.
The role is available immediately and is offered on a PAYE basis – meaning no umbrella fees and full transparency with your pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects in the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Maintain a positive and focused learning environment for students.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and progress.
- Supervise and support students during classwork and transitions between lessons.
- Uphold the school’s values, safeguarding, and behaviour expectations at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with secondary school-aged children (either in a school, youth work, or tutoring capacity).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to different subject areas.
- A confident and approachable manner with a genuine interest in education.
- A valid DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- Right to work in the UK.
