As an assistant operations manager, you will be required to:
- Coordinating installation teams across multiple projects
- Assisting with the procurement and management of materials, tools, and equipment
- Monitoring the progress of installations to ensure they meet quality and industry standards
- Communicating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide project updates
- Suppotting the resolution of on-site issues and ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements
- Keeping accurate records, including risk assessments and method statements
- Developing an understanding of different roof types, structural considerations, and installation techniques
The ideal candidate will be:
- A genuine interest in renewable energy, particularly Solar PV and Heat Pump technologies
- Some background in construction, electrical work, or site coordination is an advantage, but not essential
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with a range of stakeholders
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
