Driver required to do trunk runs 

Location: South Yorkshire
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: £17.39–£19.13 per hour (rate varies by start time and day)
Contract: Ongoing night work
Weekly Pay | Minimum 8 Hours Paid Per Shift

Our client operates a range of night trunking and delivery runs and is seeking reliable, professional C+E (HGV Class 1) Drivers for ongoing shifts. The successful drivers will transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while following all traffic regulations and company policies.

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to designated locations

• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, fuel, and compliance records

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules or delays

• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards

• Ensure vehicles remain clean and well-maintained

• Full UK C+E licence (maximum 6 points – no DR10, CD10, IN10)

• Minimum 2 years holding a UK licence

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual

• Strong understanding of road safety and commercial driving standards

• Nights, Monday to Sunday

• Weekend work available if preferred

• Full-time: 40–60 hours per week

• Part-time: 8–15 hours per day (minimum 8 hours paid)

• £17.39 per hour (Mon–Fri, Days)

• Enhanced Saturday & Sunday rates

• 12.07% holiday accrual

• Weekly pay – PAYE only (no Ltd companies)
