Interaction recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 DAY drivers to work with one of our large distribution clients in Doncaster. Our client is a distributor for Tesco- Store deliveries.
Job description/what they do;
Bay work
Fridge work
Delivering of refrigerated stock.
Start ASAP
Various start times available (YOU CHOOSE)
Day rate (Week) - £16.00 (PAYE)
Saturday - £19.63 (PAYE)
Sunday - £21.41 (PAYE)
They also offer continuous work Thursday to Sunday every week.
Shifts;
10/12 hour shifts
Please bear in mind, if you are successful the client usually conducts an induction which takes 2-3 hours- Clips of videos and 8 questions to answer, as well as going through policy documents.
Inductions/Assessments
Doncaster - 08:00 and 12:00 slots Mon-Fri (May be able to conduct inductions on Saturdays).
About You:
You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence- 1+years experience
No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
Excellent communication skills
Hi - Vis and Safety boots to be always worn.
