Reed Education are supporting a village primary with their recruitment for a Year 5 Teacher to join a school in DN10 from the May half term until the Summer. This role is ideal for someone with Key Stage 2 (KS2) experience who is ready to take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and execution of lessons.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
- Manage a Year 5 class, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to share best practices and resources.
- Participate in school meetings and events.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students' progress, attendance, and any other required documentation.
- Proven experience in teaching Key Stage 2, ideally with specific experience in Year 5.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred.
