Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them succeed in a primary school setting? GSL Education is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Doncaster. This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in the learning and development of pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to ensure pupils stay engaged and make progress.
Assist the class teacher with delivering interactive and differentiated lessons.
Support children with special educational needs (SEN), behavioural challenges, or additional learning requirements.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence.
Supervise children during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and other school activities.

Requirements:

Experience working with primary-aged children (in schools, tutoring, or childcare settings).
Understanding of SEN, Autism, ADHD, and behaviour management strategies is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
