Health, Safety & Environmental Manager
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join a well-established and growing manufacturing and distribution business based in South Yorkshire.

This is a key leadership position where you’ll drive a strong HSE culture, ensure compliance with legislation and best practice, and play a vital role in supporting a fast-paced manufacturing and fulfilment operation.

The Role:
As HSE Manager, you’ll take ownership of improving and implementing an already robust HSE management system. You’ll embed a positive safety and environmental culture across the site, lead audits, manage risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement in all areas of health, safety, and environmental performance.

You’ll act as the main contact for external bodies such as the HSE Executive and Environmental Agency, while working closely with internal teams to deliver compliance training and ensure effective reporting, KPI tracking, and best practice sharing.

About You:
We’re looking for a proactive, engaging, and people-focused HSE professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment

  • A NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma (or equivalent)

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels

  • A track record of managing audits, compliance, and risk assessments

  • Passion for driving behavioural change and continuous improvement
