They are a UK freight-transport company, specialising in road-based logistics services moving goods for clients via road haulage and helping with associated transport logistics. They mainly operate in the retail, FMCG, automotive and 3PL sectors.
This role would suit a sales professional with experience working in the transport or logistics sector looking for an exciting new opportunity where you'll get the chance to enhance your salary package with performance based commission as well as progress your career.
The Role:
- Identify potential clients such as manufacturers, distributors, retailers and freight forwarders
- Schedule and attend client meetings
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to secure ongoing business
- Prepare tailored logistics solutions
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety and industry standards
The Person:
- Business development experience in the Transport or Logistics sector.
- Track record in securing long-term contracts
