Role Overview:This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking for part-time work with flexibility. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a crucial part in our financial processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in our accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing sales and purchase ledgers using Sage Line 50
- Conducting trial balances and VAT duties, including submission to HMRC
- Handling credit control duties to maintain financial health
- Assisting with bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
- Providing financial insights and reporting to support business decisions
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Sage Line 50 for sales and purchase ledger management
- AAT Level 3 qualificationStrong understanding of VAT regulations and HMRC submissions
- (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in credit control and trial balances
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
