GSL Education South Yorkshire is recruiting a dynamic and creative Secondary Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving school in Doncaster. This is a full-time role starting immediately, with the possibility of continuing until January 2026.

The Role:
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Secondary Teacher who can foster a positive learning environment and support pupils’ academic and personal growth. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, contribute to school life, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils

• Use effective assessment strategies to monitor and promote progress

• Adapt teaching to support students with SEND, EAL, and varying ability levels

• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and teaching staff

• Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil progress

• Take part in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities

Requirements:

• UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE with QTS or equivalent)

• Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils

• Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills

• Creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) – sponsorship available on a conditional basis

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
