We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic language department. This full-time, permanent position is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is looking to take on additional responsibilities and make a significant impact on our students' language learning journey.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to students across various key stages.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure all students achieve their potential.
- Develop and enhance the Spanish curriculum in collaboration with other language department members.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching strategies and materials.
- Engage with parents and guardians to maximise student learning and address any concerns.
- Take on additional responsibilities with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) payment, contributing to broader school initiatives and leadership in the language department.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Degree in Spanish or a related subject.
- Proven experience in teaching Spanish at secondary school level.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
