Key Responsibilities

As a HLTA, you will:

  • Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities across the curriculum.
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups to help close learning gaps.
  • Assist in the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
  • Contribute to the development of classroom resources and displays.
  • Support the wider school community through participation in events, clubs, and enrichment activities.
