Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Collaborate with families, foster carers, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and provide support to ensure the well-being and development of children in care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on child progress and care activities.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in reflective practice and supervision to improve service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • BA or MA in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, preferably as a qualified social worker.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with children, families, colleagues, and partner agencies.
  • Ability to analyse information effectively and write high-quality assessments.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Resilience and motivation to support families and children in challenging situations.
