We are excited to offer the opportunity to join the Neighbourhoods and Wellbeing Service within the City of Doncaster as a Wellbeing Officer. This role is crucial in providing bespoke support to individuals, particularly Carers in Doncaster, enhancing their health, wellbeing, and independence within their own homes and communities.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide face-to-face support to individuals in their homes or communities.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify needs and develop detailed support plans.
- Focus on supporting Carers through Carer's Conversations and Assessments, ensuring plans are centred around the Carer's needs.
- Engage in community-based activities aimed at strengthening community ties and enhancing individual and collective resilience.
- Work collaboratively with the Wellbeing Team and the wider Neighbourhood's Service to deliver community engagement, capacity building, and various local and national programmes.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of handling sensitive information appropriately.
- Confidence in engaging with individuals and communities in a non-judgemental and resilient manner.
- Proven ability to think creatively and work proactively to support people effectively.
- Professional and/or personal experience in health, care, and community work.
- A positive and flexible approach to work, with the energy to make a meaningful impact.
