The School and Role  

Vision for Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant on behalf of a Primary School in Doncaster. The role is due to start ASAP. The role is based on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis supporting pupils with additional needs.  

 

Your duties and responsibilities are: 

  • To provide support with emotional, social and behavioural problems.  

  • Supervise and support to ensure the pupils safety whilst accessing learning and play.  

  • Encouraging pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the class teacher.  

  • Gathering/ reporting information and passing this onto either parent/carers or outside agencies.  

 

This Primary School is Ofsted rated ‘’Good’’ and the school are looking to achieve ‘’Outstanding’’ in their next inspection. The school are looking for the right candidate who is enthusiastic, passionate and eager to help make a difference.  

 

Requirements  

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;  

  • Experience of working with KS2 aged children  

  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND / Complex Needs particularly ASD and ADHD 

  • An ability to work as part of a team and individually 

  • Punctual, reliable and adaptable attitude to work
