V-Recruit are pleased to be working on behalf of a successful, longstanding Construction & Civil Engineering Contractor to recruit a suitably experienced Auto-Mechanic for a permanent vacancy, to be based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
Duties to include
- Diagnose and repair issues using appropriate tools and equipment on company fleet, including mainly 3.5 tonne vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance services, including tyre rotations, oil changes, hand break inspections, MOT preparation, and repairs to motor mechanics
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
Job specifics
16.20 per hour
This is a full time, permanent role
Working hours are 8am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday with some overtime required from time to time

Candidate Requirements
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Automotive Mechanics is desirable, but will consider time-served applicants
- Full Driving Licence required for this role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Proven experience in working in a vehicle repair workshop, with references
- A good understanding of safety requirements within a workshop environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Although all diagnostic equipment is provided, you will need all your own hand tools/spanners etc.
