Purpose of the Role

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Co-ordinator to join a well-established sales team based in Dorchester. This is a key role focused on delivering smooth and accurate processing of customer orders, supporting international trade activity, and contributing to outstanding customer service across global markets.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and international distributors to manage enquiries, generate documentation, and help ensure customers receive their orders efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for customers via phone, email, and web chat
  • Manage incoming enquiries, quotations, pro-forma invoices, and order acknowledgements
  • Maintain and update customer data within a CRM system
  • Forward leads to distributors and follow up on quotes and pro-forma orders
  • Support with dispatch and export procedures, including packing and invoicing
  • Administer training certificates and assist with customer training coordination
  • Support wider sales activities such as loan/demo stock management and calibration reminders
  • Attend trade exhibitions occasionally

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a sales administration or order processing role
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in international trade and export processes
  • Organised, accurate, and customer-focused
  • A can-do attitude with eagerness to learn and grow within the role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
