About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and well-organised Administrator to join the team at Dorset Innovation Park Ltd. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the service, providing high-quality administrative and clerical support across a range of functions.

You will help coordinate meetings, maintain essential records and documents, and assist with communication, marketing and event planning. Acting as a key point of contact for staff, visitors and external partners, you'll ensure the delivery of a professional, efficient and collaborative service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the team.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing diaries.
  • Help establish and maintain a structured file repository for key DIP Ltd documents, such as process maps, data feeds and other essential files.
  • Develop and manage a basic contact list (Excel-based) to support communication and engagement activities.
  • Act as the first point of contact for new enquiries from the website and other sources, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Support marketing and communications activities, including assisting with the development of promotional materials and flyers for key sectors.
  • Assist Ministry of Defence representatives on-site with the coordination of upcoming joint events.
  • Maintain and update data systems, spreadsheets and filing records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support the upkeep of the website and other communication platforms.
  • Assist with financial administration tasks as required.
  • Carry out additional administrative duties to support the wider team as needed.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in providing administrative, clerical or secretarial support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc).
  • Excellent organisational, coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, using initiative and sound judgement.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience in data management and record keeping.
  • Confident in handling varied administrative tasks in a dynamic environment.
