Sonic Summary

Our client is looking for a qualified Electrician to join their maintenance team with a focus on high-quality repair and installation work.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in domestic electrical installations and repairs.
Candidates must possess City & Guilds 2330 and 2382 qualifications, while City & Guilds 2391 is desirable.
The position offers a competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per year, depending on experience.
Success in this role involves strong diagnostic skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently.

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their dedicated maintenance team. This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated professional with excellent diagnostic and customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-quality repair, installation, and refurbishment work across a range of domestic properties, ensuring all work complies with I.E.E. wiring regulations, including Part P.

Electrician Key Responsibilities:

Fault finding on single & three-phase installations
Electrical testing and inspection, including Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
Completion of electrical installation certificates and minor works reports
Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Installation and replacement of showers, electric heating, immersion elements, and domestic heating controls
Electrical installation work on various systems and equipment
Reporting urgent repairs or health and safety concerns to the Qualifying Supervisor
Accurate daily record keeping and time management using PDA/smart devices
Participation in the Emergency Out of Hours service rota
Promoting a proactive health and safety culture across all operations

Electrician Required Skills & Qualifications

City & Guilds 2330 and 2382 qualifications (Essential)
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Desirable)
Proven experience in domestic electrical installations and repairs
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to specify required materials and complete works to a high standard
Comfortable working to deadlines and independently
Proficiency with smartphone technology and work scheduling via PDAs
Willingness to undergo further training and development
