Working Monday – Friday 37 Hours/ week

What You Will Do:

  • Calibrate a diverse range of precision measurement instruments and test equipment with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support and mentor less experienced engineers, ensuring adherence to UKAS and calibration standards.
  • Develop and refine result sheets, including measurement tolerances and uncertainty budgets.
  • Identify and implement new calibration methods, activities, and equipment to enhance the company’s capabilities.
  • Commit to meeting deadlines while delivering high-quality service to customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments and senior managers to ensure seamless operations.

What You Will Bring:

  • A degree or HND (or equivalent) in electronics, engineering, metrology, sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience working to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Quality engineering 
  • Desirable experience in calibrating small measuring tools and gauges.
  • Manual CMM operation and inspection is beneficial
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellence.
