Site Manager

I am currently working with a regional construction company who have an immediate need on a bespoke residential scheme working as a number two under a site based PM. Please review the details below and contact Rob Burnell for more details.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of high-end, bespoke residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, including coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire construction process from start to finish, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality
  • Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders involved in the project
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that any issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the schedule
  • Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including progress reports, budgets, and timelines
  • Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met on site
  • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Provide regular updates to the client on project progress, and ensure that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly
  • Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing high-end residential construction projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts and disputes
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of subcontractors and suppliers
