About the role:
Each day as a Care Assistant is different. You will assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the people we support within the setting.
- Undertake personal care duties as required to the relevant client group which will typically include toileting, washing, feeding and manual handling (including hoisting) and transfer.
- Undertake domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Support the relevant client group in a way that maintains dignity and privacy
- Participate in the maintenance of essential record keeping, through brief written recording on individual client records
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements in respect of manual handling and transfer hoisting and the use of protective equipment to aid infection control
- You would be expected to work within the Gold Standards Framework

About you:
Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training and ongoing support will be provided.
