We are excited to be working with a well established Building supplies company who have a fantastic opportunity to temporarily join their team in Dorset, Hampshire! Our client is looking for an Class 2 HIAB driver to provide multi-drop deliveries.

Schedule:

The current need is :

29th September - 3rd October

6th October - 10th October

7am - 4:30pm.

The Role:

Our client are looking for a HIAB driver, to cover a 25 mile radius from their Depot in Dorset. The successful candidate will be delivering building materials to both customers and sites. You will also be required to use PDA's to record deliveries with signatures and a photo.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Ensure with the Loader that the load is correct against the customers’ orders and documentation.
• Check goods off with Customers and obtain signature and printed name.
• If any errors exist mark documentation accordingly and consult with supervisors if needed.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Drive within the tachograph law and driver hours limits.

Requirements

• British driving license, a valid CPC and Digi card and have no more than 6 points on your license with no previous DR or DD endorsements.
• HIAB experience.
• Experience as a multi-drop class 2 driver an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and protocols.

Salary:

Salary starts at £15.50 per hour and has the possibility to increase depending on the experience held.
