Join our dedicated team at College, located in the picturesque area of Cranborne, Dorset. Set within 16 acres of listed gardens and a 50-acre campus, it offers a spectacular work environment. We are committed to empowering our young people through learning and strive to exceed expectations. We are currently seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to enhance our multi-disciplinary therapy service.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Undertake autonomous assessment of young people with a wide range of additional communication needs attending the college.
  • Analyse and interpret assessments to recommend and deliver the best course of intervention for each child.
  • Formulate, evaluate, and review individualised speech and language therapy treatment plans, using clinical reasoning skills and utilising a wide range of treatment options to formulate a specialised programme of care.
  • Provide speech and language therapy training, support, and advice to members of the multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deliver both direct and indirect speech and language therapy interventions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist, registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience in assessing and treating a wide range of communication disorders.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Newly qualified therapists are welcome to apply.
