Salary: 48,000 + Bonus + Enhanced Overtime
Location: Dorset (Commutable from Poole, Bournemouth, Southampton, Eastleigh Blandford Forum, Salisbury)
Shifts: 8 Hour Shifts - Covering Days & Nights

Zest engineering have teamed up with a leading food manufacturer looking to take on an experienced engineer. Their facility is a fast-paced environment, and they pride themselves on delivering consistent, top-quality products while ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently. To support the growth and maintain high standards, we're looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers who thrive on a challenge and are eager to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:
* To carry out both reactive and planned maintenance in the fast-paced environment.
* Rapidly respond to machinery breakdowns and failures to ensure minimum disruption to production.
* Provide hands-on repairs and adjustments on a range of machinery, including conveyors, packing equipment, wrappers and other critical food production systems.
* Work closely with the production and engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities.
* Conduct routine safety checks, report hazards, and ensure safe working practices are always followed.
* Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage.

Qualifications & Skills:
* Strong electrical and mechanical background in a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment. (Food Manufacturing preferred)
* Excellent fault-finding skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues.
* NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering; a recognised apprenticeship or similar qualification is desirable.
