We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our award-winning kitchen brigade at a beautiful country house hotel set in stunning surroundings in the Surrey countryside. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working with quality ingredients and takes pride in artisanal baking.
About the Role:As a key part of the pastry team, youll be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, and desserts for breakfast, events, and restaurant service. Experience or a keen interest in chocolate work would be a big bonus, as we continue to elevate our pastry offering.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and bake a range of high-quality breads and patisserie items daily
Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene
Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef and wider kitchen team to ensure consistency and excellence across all offerings
Previous experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen
Strong baking skills and a creative flair for presentation
Experience or interest in chocolate work is desirable
Calm, reliable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
A genuine passion for fresh, high-quality food and a desire to learn and grow
Competitive salary up to £38,300 depending on experience
