Logistics Analyst
Dorking, Surrey
40,000 per annum

ProTech Recruitment is working with a global organisation to recruit an experienced Logistics Analyst to support international logistics operations from their Dorking site.



The Role

As the Logistics Analyst you will play a key role in managing and analysing global freight activity, supporting contract negotiations, ensuring accurate freight payment, and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments in a cost-effective and compliant manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing freight contracts, rates and shipping routes

  • Requesting and evaluating freight quotes from approved carriers

  • Maintaining tariffs, surcharges and rate summaries in Excel

  • Reviewing freight invoices and ensuring accurate GL coding

  • Coordinating shipments with freight forwarders and carriers

  • Supporting internal teams with tracking, expedited shipments and cost analysis

  • Monitoring logistics spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities



About You

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline

  • Proven experience in international logistics

  • Experience with cold chain logistics and biological sample shipments

  • Understanding of Incoterms and Hazmat / Dangerous Goods requirements

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud and Freight Payment Centres

  • Strong Excel skills with a data-driven, problem-solving mindset
