What you'll do as a SEMH Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs

  • Use de-escalation strategies and supportive interventions

  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and external professionals

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
