Legal Secretary - Dover
We are working with a well-established legal practice based in Dover and are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a professional, supportive environment where your skills and expertise will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing legal documentation
- Typing correspondence, often from audio dictation, including letters and emails to clients and solicitors
- Managing files and archiving both physical and digital case files in line with compliance procedures
- Managing diaries, scheduling client meetings, appointments, and conferences
- Drafting bills, logging fee earner time, chasing payments, and preparing cost schedules
- Acting as the first point of contact: answering calls, taking messages, and handling initial client queries with discretion
- Sending welcome packs and liaising with third parties, including courts, other law firms, barristers and financial advisors
Person Specification:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary
- Confident in handling sensitive cases with tact and confidentiality
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in audio typing and document preparation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
