A well-established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to take full responsibility for its IT infrastructure, systems, and support. Role Overview:The IT Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation's IT systems and services. You'll work closely with senior management and operational teams to ensure all digital tools, hardware, and infrastructure align with business needs and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop and implement IT strategies in line with business objectives

Lead and deliver software and infrastructure projects across departments

Maintain and upgrade networks, hardware, servers, and operating systems

Manage cybersecurity policies and ensure data protection best practices

Lead and support a small internal IT team

Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues promptly

Oversee IT budgets and ensure cost-effective technology investments

Provide internal technical support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain documentation and enforce IT policies and procedures

Previous experience in an IT Manager or senior IT leadership role

Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and networking

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

Confident team leader with effective communication abilities

Sound knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management

Experience with server implementation, system administration, and software deployment
