We are recruiting for a leading and prestigious Food Service Company based in Downham Market, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a PM Shift Order Picker to start asap.

Reporting directly to Supervisor/Shift Manager

Hours & Shifts

11am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 8am – 1pm

During term time schools Suffolk

£12.21 per hour

Purpose of the role:

To pick and process customer orders, ensuring that they are picked accurately, at the correct quality and quantity in a safe manner.

This position reports directly to the Supervisor or Shift Manager but may necessitate working with all departments and personnel within the business. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

To pick customer orders, ensuring all orders are picked accurately and to the correct quality, quantity in a timely manner.

Work in a team

Able to lift up to 25 kilos.

To ensure that you are responsible for and comply with all Health and Safety legislation - advising your manager of deviations from this or potential deviations which you feel may occur.

To assist in the application of the HACCP function of the business so far as it related to the shift you are responsible for and to ensure that the quality and food safety systems in place are adhered to in operational areas to enable the company to maintain its accreditation status and to comply with current legislation.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required:

Ability to liaise effectively with managers and staff at all levels.

Able to read and write in English.

Some practical understanding and awareness of operational activities within a food environment would be advantageous.

Ability and willingness to continue to be trained to higher standards and in new areas of legislation as appropriate.
