Reed Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working with a Norwich based service provider who are looking for a fully qualified Financial Accountant who will play an integral role to the wider finance and operations team. The post is for a one-year fixed term contract offering a competitive salary, hybrid working and free on-site parking.

Financial Accountant duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Reporting into the Group Financial Accountant
Preparation of statutory accounts
Assisting with cash-flow forecasting
Assist with preparation of Group Financial Pack
VAT returns
Assisting external auditors when necessary
Any ad-hoc reporting or support to the wider team

Experience sought:

Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent - can consider a candidate who has almost finished their qualifications
This position may suit someone who is looking to step into industry from practice
Technical knowledge and experience of IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 101) accounting standards
Understanding of tax rules and legislation
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management and organisation skills
