Counterbalance FLT Driver and Operative
Location: Driffield
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 18:00 (11 hours paid per day)
Pay Rate: 13.00 per hour
We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support our busy factory operations. This is a key role ensuring smooth material flow across production areas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently across the factory site
Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
Supply production lines with ingredients, packaging, and other materials as required
Remove waste and empty pallets from production areas
Maintain accurate stock movement records
Conduct pre-use vehicle checks and report any faults or issues
- Work alongside Production when FLT use not needed
Work closely with the production, warehouse, and quality teams
Follow all health & safety procedures and site policies
What We're Looking For:
A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a busy factory or warehouse environment
Confident operating in shared spaces and around machinery
A proactive and reliable approach to work
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
