Sonic Summary

The Electrical Fitter position is a full-time, permanent role with working hours from Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 1pm.
Key responsibilities include installing electrical systems, assembling electrical control panels, and maintaining and repairing electrical equipment.
Candidates should have a Level 3 NVQ or City and Guilds qualification and previous electrical experience.
Experience in an engineering shop floor is desirable but not essential for applicants.

Job: Electrical Fitter

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am-1pm

Key Responsibilities:

Installation: Install electrical systems, machinery, and appliances, including reading wiring diagrams and blueprints to guide the work.
Assembly: Build and wire electrical control panels and other electrical assemblies.
Maintenance & Repair: Service, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and components, replacing faulty parts and wiring as needed.
Testing & Diagnostics: Test electrical systems and equipment using various instruments to ensure safety, identify problems, and monitor performance.

Education and Previous Experience:

- Lvl 3 NVQ or City and Guilds qualification

- Previous electrical experience

- Experience within working in an engineering shopfloor would also be desirable but not essential
