A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join an internationally established automotive manufacturer. Â
The successful Quality Engineer should be HNC/HND or degree qualified. In this role you will be the key link to the customer base on all product quality matters. You’re job is to help ensure that quality standards, stay compliant with customer requirements and drive continuous improvement throughout the business.
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for
*Carry out Problem Solving activities using the 8D method along with other quality tools such as DMAIC, SPC and MSA
*Monitor Quality for the customer on a daily basis
*Develop quality control plans and work instructions for all components
*Conduct Quality Audits for both product and process.
*Ensure containment activities are initiated.Â
*Implement Continuous Improvement activities to reduce costs and improve qualityÂ
* Update FMEA’s and Control plans.
Ideally, candidates will have a background in automotive manufacturing and should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and in particular with the customer. Â
