Immediate start - Class 1 HGV Driver - Droitwich - £15.95-27.35 per hour
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver for our client in Droitwich on an ad hoc basis.
Class 1 HGV Driver Pay Rates below:
- Days Mon to Fri £15.95
- Nights Mon to Fri £18.23
- Saturday Days £17.95
- Saturday Nights £20.51
- Sunday Days £23.93
- Sunday Nights £27.35
Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or or Payroll Processing Fees.
A Class 1 HGV Driver duties will include the following -
- Daily Vehicle checks
- Store deliveries
- Multi-drop with handball involved (rolling cages)
- Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends
- Manual entries must be done for Digi Taco Cards
- A professional manner when dealing with the end customer
- Ability to complete an assessment prior to work starting
- always Wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety Boots and Hi-Vis)
The times we need drivers to start on the adhoc shifts is between 18:00 - 02:00 and to work one day at least on the weekend. Cover is mainly needed on weekends and for holidays. We also have adhoc shifts available outside of these start times.
The customer is one of the world's largest retail distributors and offers both store delivery work and trunking back and forth to RDC's all over the UK.

Please note this customer is a cross over client and Nights rates only apply between the hours of 1800 and 0400, work completed outside these hours are paid at the Days pay rate.

- 6 months experience is ESSENTIAL for this position
- a Valid Digital tacho card
- a Valid DQC card.
This work is ongoing and offers adhoc work all year round due to the nature of the contract.
Holiday pay is also accrued as annual leave which is paid to you separately when you book annual leave.
