Shorterm Group are looking for a number of experienced control panel builders with experience within the automation industry to act as an extension to an established, in-house engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
* Assemble and wire control panels, enclosures, and junction boxes
* Mount and label components such as relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, terminal blocks, and other electrical devices
* Perform continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, and functional testing
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and improve build efficiency
Requirements:
* Proven experience in electrical panel building or control panel wiring
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
* Strong understanding of electrical components and wiring practices
* Comfortable using hand and power tools
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
