Repair Engineers - Short-Term Contract
Location: Droitwich
Duration: 2-3 weeks (initially for 2 engineers)
Day Rate: 145-160 (depending on experience)
About the Role:
TXP are looking for experienced Repair Engineers to join our Repair Lab, handling corporate devices that require typical end-user damage repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on laptops and IT devices
- Common tasks include:
- Palm rest replacements
- Screen and LCD cover replacements
- Board and fan replacements
- Run onboard diagnostics to ensure successful repair
Preferred Skillset:
- Strong hardware repair experience
- Previous hands-on work replacing screens and similar components
- Practical repair expertise
Working Hours:
- Standard: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (7.5-hour day with 30-min break)
- Hour can be flexible: Site open until 6:00 PM (e.g., 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM if preferred)
*Role falls inside IR35
