What You Will Do:

  • Interpret and analyse engineering drawings and CAD data to ensure manufacturing feasibility and accurate tool designs.
  • Oversee tooling orders, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage toolmakers throughout the development process, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes to optimise efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Conduct tool trials, analyse trial data, and validate tool performance and process capability.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to production teams, troubleshooting tooling and equipment issues to ensure operational efficiency.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering drawings, CAD software, and GD&T principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of building professional relationships at all levels.
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
