What You Will Do:
- Interpret and analyse engineering drawings and CAD data to ensure manufacturing feasibility and accurate tool designs.
- Oversee tooling orders, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Manage toolmakers throughout the development process, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes to optimise efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Conduct tool trials, analyse trial data, and validate tool performance and process capability.
- Provide ongoing technical support to production teams, troubleshooting tooling and equipment issues to ensure operational efficiency.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in engineering drawings, CAD software, and GD&T principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
