Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler/Fabricator with strong welding skills to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team in Droitwich. This hands-on role involves the assembly and fabrication of mechanical components, with a particular focus on welding, to deliver high-quality finished products that meet strict specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
. Assemble and fabricate mechanical components to engineering drawings and specifications
. Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components to a high standard
. Operate hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery to complete builds
. Conduct quality inspections on welded and assembled parts
. Follow all health and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
. Proven experience in mechanical assembly and fabrication, with a focus on welding
. Proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques
. Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
. Competent using a variety of fabrication tools and workshop equipment
. Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
