Job Title: Accounts AssistantLocation: DroitwichSalary: £13.51 per hourHours: 37 hours per week (Mon–Thu 8:00am–4:30pm, Fri 8:00am–1:00pm)Contract: Full-time, PermanentA leading manufacturing company based in Droitwich is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team on a temporary basis. This role may have potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the purchase ledger function, including invoice processing and supplier payments
  • Preparing and processing multi-currency bank payments 
  • Assisting with payroll processing and labour cost reconciliations
  • Supporting general finance tasks including bookkeeping, cash control, and banking
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar accounts role
  • AAT qualified or QBE 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with accounting and payroll software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
