Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Field Service Engineer role
Reporting to the Electrical Team Lead you will:
- Install, commission, service and repair UPS and inverter drive systems
- Work across single-phase and three-phase electrical setups
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and control logic
- Carry out occasional light mechanical tasks (e.g., drilling, wiring)
- Travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Level 3 (or UK equivalent) qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 18th Edition certification (ideal but not essential)
- Experience working with single and three-phase systems
- Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics
Personal skills
