Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Field Service Engineer role

Reporting to the Electrical Team Lead you will:

• Install, commission, service and repair UPS and inverter drive systems
• Work across single-phase and three-phase electrical setups
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and control logic
• Carry out occasional light mechanical tasks (e.g., drilling, wiring)
• Travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Level 3 (or UK equivalent) qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 18th Edition certification (ideal but not essential)
• Experience working with single and three-phase systems
• Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics

The Electrical Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is:

• Flexible and willing to travel across the UK

• Practical, hands-on, and confident working independently
• Keen to learn and develop with specialist equipment
