GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Droitwich for an Electrical Fitter to join their rapidly growing business. Our client is a lead provider of bespoke, innovative water based exercise manufacturer, who is experienced huge growth at present.
This is a full time, permanent position, and the chance to join a rapidly growing and highly successful business that can offer varied working projects and career progression, working Monday – Friday,9 – 5pm . You will be offered a salary up to £40,000 which will be commensurate with experience, plus additional company benefits.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Electrical Fitter/Wireman with previous electrical panel build, machine wiring and assembly experience.
Due to the nature of the work, you will be carrying out, it is vital you can demonstrate panel building experience.
Electrical Fitter main duties:
- Panel building, machine wiring, assembly and commissioning on bespoke, electrical equipment
- You will ensure all activities are completed within Health and Safety guidelines
- Ensure all duties are carried out to a high quality standard in a timely fashion, sometimes to short time frames to adhere to customer orders
- All areas of fitting to be carried out in a timely, professional, and accurate manner
Electrical Fitter desires skills and experience:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification ideal but not essential.
- Previous electrical panel build, machine wiring and assembly experience
- An Electrical Fitter/Electrical Engineer background
- Problem solving and fault finding skills
- The ability to read Engineering drawings and Solid works
- The ability to work alone and as part of a small team
- The ability to form and sustain strong working relationships with Project Managers, Design Engineers and be willing to work closely with customers
- A willingness to partake in site visits for evaluation and commissioning purposes
