First Achieve's Engineering Division are hiring for a Shot Blaster for their client who specialise in recovery vehicles for clients all over the UK.

As part of their continuous growth, we are seeking a skilled Shot Blaster to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform shot blasting to clean, prepare, and finish metal surfaces of recovery vehicles and parts.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain blasting equipment.
  • Inspect surfaces for defects and report any issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Work closely with the paint team to ensure proper surface preparation.
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shot Blaster, preferably in the automotive or heavy machinery industry.
  • Knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Benefits:

  • Up to £14/hr.
  • 40 hours a week; Monday to Friday 7:30 - 16:00
